University of Okara Jobs Aug 2024. University of Okara was established under Government of the Punjab Act, 2016 (XIII of 2016). Currently there are more than 15,000 students, enrolled in various disciplines. The University of Okara is one of the most progressive and dynamic institutions of higher learning. Applications are invited from suitable candidates to teach in the various disciplines as visiting faculty members for Semester Fall 2024 and Semester Spring 2025.

1- Application form may be downloaded from the University’s official website https://uo.edu.pk/
2- The dully filled-in application form along with attested copies of all testimonials, experience certificates CNIC & CV must be submitted in the Vice Chancellor Office, University of Okara by August 26, 2024. The interviews will be conducted on September 05, 2024.
3- Candidates serving in private or public sector organisations need to obtain the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their organizations and attach it with the applications. Applications without NOCs will not be entertained.
4- The PhD students, enrolled at the University of Okara, will not be able to apply against the same shit
5- The visiting faculty members coming from far flung areas will be allocated maximum of 04 courses in Morning and 04 in Self-Support.
6- The hiring in every department will purely be made on the basis of need.
7- The working hours for all the visiting faculty members will be from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
8- It is mandatory to deposit Rs. 1000/- as application processing fee for each discipline separately.
9- Incomplete application or application received after due date shall not be considered.
10- Eligibility, relevancy of discipline and merit order will be determined by the Central Committee, constituted by the Competent Authority.
11- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and no TA/DA will be admissible.
