Jobs of Fire and Safety Officer in State Bank of Pakistan 2024. SBP Banking Services Corporation (SBP BSC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). As an operational arm of the State Bank, SBP BSC operates through a network of 16 Field Offices across the country having its Head Office at Karachi.
• Analyzing safety arrangements, recommending improvements, and overseeing procurement, attending bid openings of new safety equipment.
• Ensuring proper placement and maintenance of fire extinguishers, identifying fire hazards, and liaising with the Engineering Department.
• Planning and conducting training for fire fighters/security guards and advising field offices on safety matters.
• Participating in fire safety inspections, confirming tests of fire protection equipment, developing and formulating security policies and reporting violations.
• Preparing technical specifications for safety/security equipment and supervising repair/maintenance.

Note: This is a contractual position for a period of two years and is renewable subject to satisfactory performance of incumbent and the Bank’s need.
